Huawei Ideos U8150-B Specs & Review: Mid-Range Android 2.2 Handset

The pool of Froyo devices is increasing in the world more and more Froyo devices keep propping up from the different parts of the world. Even the low end manufacturers have joined the race of manufacturing Android 2.2 devices these days. Huawei (Largest networking and telecommunications equipment supplier in the People’s Republic of China. It is headquartered in Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong) has also leaked an Android 2.2 running device which apparently has been named as the Ideos.

The phone has the model number of U8150-B and this is probably the first time that it is being seen over the internet. Although, Huawei by no means is a low end manufacturer we usually associate Huawei with manufacturing devices in the mid to low-end.

The phone has just hit the GCC(Global certification forum) and the FCC and is expected to hover somewhere around the mid to high level mark in terms of pricing and sounds pretty capable of talking down the market leaders right now. The phone includes some pretty good features which include- include 512MB of ROM, 256MB of RAM, 13.5 mm thin, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, WiFi (up to N), GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 3.2-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash. Although, Retailer Clove once had the device listed for 170 British pounds but they’ve since removed it.

It wasn’t mentioned which carriers will be picking up this phone, but it should be launched over in Europe, and there’s also the possibility of it arriving at AT&T or T-Mobile since it sports a variety of quad-band GSM and UMTS/HSDPA radios. The Huawei U121, Playset and the Vodafone 716 are 3G mobile camera phones designed and manufactured by Chinese telecommunications equipment supplier Huawei. The phone is most common in its Vodafone UK form, where it is branded as a Vodafone product, and sold as a budget pay as you talk phone. It’s also sold by Polish Play network as Playset.

Huawei Ideos specs:

It will be available in pink, yellow and blue, as you can see above in the pictures and will be priced £200 in the UK without contract and with all taxes included and with similar prices around the world. Wait for the release of Huawei Ideos user manual or specs sheet for more details. Huawei Ideos release date is still a mystery, but we guess it will be soon. So, take a look at it guys? What do you make out? Froyo or no Froyo will this device carries the hardware to challenge the other Froyo devices?

Will you go for a high-end Froyo or a low or mid-end Froyo without going for the brand name of the company? Will you go for the Froyo on Samsung for a high cost or will you go for the Huawei Froyo device? Do let us know of your views in the comments section below.

  1. Froyo swimming pool equipment in the world is more and more to keep devices Froyo based on different parts of the world. Even the manufacturers of small purchases in the production of Android 2.2 devices connected to that day. Huawei (a leading provider of network equipment and telecommunications in China. S Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong headquarters) also plays an Android 2.2, which is marked as Ideos apparently abandoned.
